Our team brings together architecture and engineering professionals with large experience in Health Care Facilites, led or coordinated by Ángel García Álvarez.

Ángel García Álvarez completed the architecture studies at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid in 1985, and postgraduate studies in USA at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge) from 1987 to 1989, where he began his research in Health Care Architecture and Engineering.

Since then he has continued research in Health Care Architecture, and attended numerous international congresses or seminars, with study trips to hospitals in the USA, Canada, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Belgium, Holland, Germany, France and Italy. Also he has carried out teaching activity on planning and design of health care facilities in several public or private health care institutions in Spain.

He has carried out the analysis and evaluation of more than a hundred hospitals in Spain, Portugal and Hispanoamerica; and has completed projects of rehabilitation and expansion of Primary Care and Hospital Facilities in Spain, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Croatia and Iraq.

He is a Registered Architect of the Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid, Associate Member of the American Institute of Architects (Washington D.C), Member of the Academy of Architecture for Health of the American Institute of Architects, (Washington D.C); and Member of the Working Group of the Public Health Group of the International Union of Architects.
